Historic Luxury - York Harbor's "The Mount" Mansion

We enjoyed our stay with a large group.

Comfortable, clean house with plenty of space for a three generation family trip including dogs. Loved the fenced yard and multiple porches. It’s an easy walk to York harbor beach and wiggly bridge. Beds and bedding are very comfortable.

It is in a great location, near the water and close to breweries, shopping, and dining. Plenty of space for large gatherings with a fenced-in backyard. The beds were super comfortable. The property host was personable and attentive. Highly recommend!

The house was great with tons of room, plenty of space and great location. The kitchen was great as was the laundry. The house does have personality. But parking was a real challenge, as the driveway is very narrow, if you have more than 2 cars. We had 4. For a house this size and what we paid, I would expect more than one TV. The house needs some TLC, like power washing particularly the back deck which was filthy. It needs repainting. Same with the front downstairs deck. The cushions on the front deck are filthy which is not acceptable. One of the gutters on the back deck that has trees growing out of it, appears to be separating. I would say the house has not been power washed in over 2 years and it shows. Again, unacceptable. For a house this size that rents in a high price range, it should have 1 very spacious updated bathroom, so merge the two bathrooms on the second floor. I do note that the bathrooms have been updated.
