Private Beach House-Steps from Drakes Island Beach

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Maine property! It felt like the perfect home base for a relaxing coastal getaway. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for, and the location was incredibly convenient. We loved that it was just an easy walk to the ocean, making it simple to head down for a morning stroll, spend time by the water, or enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery throughout the day. We especially appreciated all the outdoor amenities. The outdoor shower was such a great touch after time at the beach, and having outdoor games, a wagon, beach chairs, and boards available made everything so easy and enjoyable. It was clear that the property was set up with guests in mind, and those little extras made our stay feel especially comfortable and fun. We truly enjoyed having such a peaceful and welcoming place to come back to after exploring the area. The combination of cleanliness, convenience, comfort, and proximity to the ocean made this an ideal Maine getaway. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful coastal vacation!

We stayed for a week at 16 Grasshopper Lane and had a fantastic time. The house is well maintained and has everything you could want to enjoy a summer beach vacation. Steps from the beach yet still very private, the hosts have provided comfortable gathering spaces, activities available with beach gear, large TV, outdoor firepit and more. Drakes Island is a treasure on the coast of Maine with a large deep beach at low tide and quiet ambience!

House was perfect for our family vacation at the beach. The hosts have thought of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable and fun. Loved the fire pit out back for s’mores night and game table in the sunroom for family game nights. The home is lovely!
