The Heart of Ogunquit – Steps to Beach & Downtown

This is wonderfully outfitted house, very clean, and in a perfect location in Ogunquit. We walked everywhere. 2 minutes to town and 3 minutes to the beach! In town there is a grocery store with a great deli selection, including yummy house made salads, produce and meats, as well as all the usual household items should you forget something. We loved the large dining table which seats 8 and using the deck which has a great view of the water. We grilled most of our meals on the deck. Those meals that we did not grill were easily prepared using the plethora of pots, pans and utensils provided, and the dishwasher made for a quick and easy clean up. The kids loved walking to the toy store, candy shop and the bakery. The adults loved being able to walk to the beach, Marginal way and all the local shops and eateries. We made full use of the provided laundry facilities and were very happy to have a broom and vacuum provided to clean up after very sandy kids! The only drawback I found was the lack of clothing storage space. The only place for clothes (aside from 3 small drawers in each bedside table) was closet hanging, Not ideal for casual, beach clothes or for the younger ones. So living out of suitcases for a week was a bit messy, but really the only downside of the experience. We have stayed at 67 Hoyts many times in the past. It is simply a great place to enjoy your stay.
